One Electrical was awarded the contract to upgrade the Hamilton Waste Water Treatment Plant River Intake Electrical upgrade. For this project we upgraded the Main Control Board, 250amp Generator connection panel and removal of all redundant electrical services from within the building.
We also installed an Allen Bradley Remote I/O rack in this panel and ran a 400m fibre link in underground ducts between this rack and the main treatment plant PLC. The ducts had collapsed in a couple of areas where they crossed the main road, but with a bit of persistence and digging we managed to repair the ducting and complete the run.
