Our scope of this project included the upgrade of the sites power supply. This involved installing a1MVA Transformer, Mains Supply cables, Mains earthing system and installation of a new Main Power Distribution Switchboard, Digestor Motor Control Centre, Generator Connection Panel.
Due to the biogas created by digestor processes, this project involved a considerable amount of equipment being installed in Hazardous Areas. We were responsible for installing this equipment to industry standard for these classified areas, engaging an independent Hazardous Area Electrical Inspector to achieve all the required sign off certifications.
