One Electrical worked alongside Spartan Construction in successful tendering for the new Water Treatment Plant at Inghams, Te Aroha in the greater Waikato district.
This project involves a new bore for supply of raw water, a raw water treatment plant and a treated water reservoir and associated pump shed.
Our scope for the Electrical and Control Systems includes supply and installation of new Mains and Switchboard, complete with Control Systems for the Bore and Pump arrangement, new Sub-Mains, Motor Control and Distribution for the Water Treatment Plant, and associated Instrumentation and Control Systems for the Treatment Plant.
The treated water reservoir and pump house will have a dedicated switch room constructed. We will supply and install sub mains, motor controls, power distribution, PLC and Instrumentation.
One Electrical will also be responsible for the installation of a fibre network connecting the four new MCC’s back to the existing plant network. We will also be carrying out the system PLC and HMI programming as well as network configuration back to a demarcation point. One Electrical is to work in with Inghams software engineers who will integrate the new water system into their main plant SCADA system. This will allow operations to monitor and initiate process changes to the new water system as required.
